RUPERT EVERETT STILL BITCHING ABOUT THE LACK OF ROLES FOR GAY ACTORS

Rupert Everett interviewed with BBC4 where he bitched about the lack of roles offered to gay actors in Hollywood. He also says that Holywood is a heterosexual business (ummm...do you not realize how many gay actors are working in Hollywood as well as closeted) and gays are a pecking order. While he sounds like a bitter queen in this interview, I did agree with his views on Jennifer Aniston and the fact that she continues to make shitty rom-coms that no one goes to see. If Rupert wants to work, then why not write a role for yourself or head to Broadway?

Shortly after Twatter was set afire after former B2K member Raz B asked the question, "Im just sittin here Thinking how can n**gas like (Eric Benet) and (Chris Brown) disrespect women as Intelligent as Halle Berry, Rihanna," it got plenty heated when brown and Raz went back and forth at each other with racist and homophobic epithets. When the complaints came pouring in (including mine) about Chris's homophobic comments, the "Deuces" singer took to defending his actions where else - on the social networking website.

Not to defend Chris, but in my opinion Chris was trying to hit Raz where it hurts, especially when he took to YouTube spilling all the tea that went down as a member of B2K. I have on many occasions when I've been backed into a wall pulled out the blade and cut directly at your achilles heel, something that at times in my opinion is well deserved to those assholes who try to test you and aren't careful as to who they fuck with. Also, why is Raz bringing up drama (Halle & Eric, Chris & Rihanna) that happened years ago? Raz needs to deal with all of his demons and stop worrying about everyone else. As for Chris that anger management ain't working. Learn to think before you speak or take the high road. A person can't argue by themselves.

It looks like it's about to be T shirt tiiiiiiiime for Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino. The reality star is the latest castmember to launch his own line of T shirts (JWOWW and The Situation both have clothing lines) called “IHAV”–short for I Have A Vision. I know you guys are saying who cares right? Well there's always a method to my madness.  Vinny, who released an It Gets Better video for anti-gay bullying a few months back is teaming up with DoSomething.org to give a portion of the proceeds generated through his first T-shirt design to grants which will help facilitate anti-bullying initiatives across the country. Say what you want about the other castmembers, but at least Vinny's doing it for a good cause and in my opinion is the only one on the show who is enjoying his fame and is a down to earth nice guy (besides Pauly D).

Raz B made comments towards Chris Brown after giving his opinion on the Rihanna smackdown they had back at the Grammy's party in '09. The drama has gotten so bad it's even resorted to death threats from Raz's brother Ricky Romance. "If I see you in L.A. my dude, I'm gonna put my mother fu**ing pistol in your mouth." says Ricky. I hope he realizes that should something happen to Brown, he'll be the first suspect the LAPD looks at. Romance also added. Here's the thing: We all know at any given point the both of you's bitches will bend over for the biggest dick in the industry just so that you can have just a taste of the fame you once had a few years back. On the other hand, I'm sick and tired of people - celebrity or non who resort to homophobic slurs to low blow someone. Seriously guys? Can't you come up with something else besides using gay slurs against each other? I'm not surprised by Chris Brown's actions, since he's officially become the Mel Gibson of R&B. His twitter rants are legendary. He abuses women (I still think to this day that he hasn't taken responsibility for hitting Rihanna) and hates homosexuals. Consider your career finished, especially since the only thing you will be selling is mixtapes out of the back of your car.
 
As for Raz B, I started to like you after starring on Noah's Arc, and even started to consider you an ally in the gay community. But after your recent YouTube rants where you talked about the sexual abuse in B2K and would have conflicting views whenever it came to religion vs. homosexuality, my feelings for him started to wane a bit. then when he had his publicist distance himself from the gays (who basically embraced him and I'm sure would have helped him get some coin in his pocket) and one of my favorite internet radio shows (besides mine) Da Doo Dirty Show, I started to see him for who he is.
 
All I know is these two need to patch their shit up, apologize to your gay fans for these disgusting comments, flip flop fuck the shit out of each other, film it and send it to X Tube or Mediatakeout. Then there will be a good reason to talk. Otherwise, shut the fuck up, look down the both of you, and stop using gays as a scapegoat to cut at the core of each other's ladyboyhood. You both need to remember that your fans are paying attention to everything you do, and even get so invested in these fights, that they start to take on internet bullying just so they can get in on the drama. So now that Chris's career is done, I'm guessing this is the perfect time for Evan Ross to step in and snatch Chris's crown (tha's if he can dance as well as he can sing).

The more producers I hear jumping on the new album, the more respect I'm starting to have for the Spears camp. The singer, who has been hard at work for the past few months on her seventh album so far has gone British, recruiting such U.K. acts like William Orbit, Fraser T. Smith, Livvi Franc, Rusko, Jessie J, Chase ‘n’ Status, and Labrinth to put in their best work on her new record. Dr. Luke and Max Martin are also lending their producing magic to the album. According to The Sun  Brit Brit has jumped on the batgirl phone and phoned up the legendary songwriting team Xenomania to add some last minute magic to the record. Xenomania is responsible for creating hits for U.K. acts Kylie and her sister Dannii Minogue, Pet Shop Boys, Saint Etienne, Rachel Stevens, Bananarama, Sophie Ellis Bextor, and Cher. For those not in the know, this is not Britney's first time working with Xenomania. Back in 2003 when she was recording her fourth album In The Zone, they submitted a song called Graffiti My Soul, which ended up never making the album due in their words to the lack of a chorus. Let's just hope their new submissions will have all the Britney stans sangin' and hollerin' like we're receiving a Sunday sermon. Britney's new single Hold It Against Me is said to be dropping next week and her album sometime in March. My album is no longer coming out on 1-11-11… unfortunately. It was done, but things/people constantly change within ALL record labels & in life (DUH!).


I am now recording even more material for the record because I feel like I’ve grown (musically) since when I was 15-16 years old. All of the songs will eventually come out because they are all important to me. I’m trying to push for an EP to come out in February too.

Hold it against me

DAFT PUNK TALK UNEASY TRON: LEGACY SOUNDTRACK

Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, better known to the electronic music world as Daft Punk, are currently enjoying some massive chart success after creating the brilliant soundtrack for Tron: Legacy. Below are some bits of an interview where they talked about the soundtrack's uneasy creation:

"In dance music, we've always tried to combine existing genres -- heavy metal and disco or funk, something that contrasts associations. [For the film], we liked the idea of a dark influence reminiscent of some electronic scores of the '70s. But at the same time, we wanted the scope of classic Hollywood. To mash up those things that usually exist on opposite ends of the spectrum."


The duo also said they have no plans to work on another soundtrack, instead putting focus on their next album:

 "Making music for a movie is very humbling," Bangalter said. "We've been working on some of our music concurrently." (They declined to specify touring or album release plans.)

SYSTEM OF A DOWN REUNITE FOR SUMMER TOUR

After taking a long break in 2006 after touring with their last album Toxicity, and singer Serj Tankian releasing two solo albums of his own, I bring my fellow metal fans some fantabulous news. The only Armenians I would rather see on TV with some talent System of a Down are heading out on tour next summer, which I'm hoping will spill into them making a new album.


We are excited to announce that System will be playing some dates together in 2011.


We also want to thank you for your loyalty and support, not only to System Of A Down, but to all of our solo efforts as well. We have no master plan of sorts – we are playing these shows simply because we want to play together again as a band and for you, our amazing fans. We look forward to seeing all of you!

I remember just two weeks ago I was in my film class and while waiting for my teacher to show up one of my classmates put on Chop Suey! And if you are a filmmaker and you're all about cool shots and camera tricks, this is a video director's wet dream. So far no American dates have been set, but you can check out some of their European dates below.

KATY PERRY CHOOSES E.T. TO BE FOURTH SINGLE

Katy Perry, who's new album is filled with so many candy-coated pop anthems it'll give you numerous cavities has chosen my favorite track E.T. (Futuristic Lover) as her fourth single. While traveling to my cousin's house for Christmas, I had E.T. as one of my mixes, and now that it's been chosen as her next single I feel sort-of Sylvia Brown-ish. I'm having a musical clairvoyant moment and I love it!

Another bit of news is that Katy has enlisted DJ’s Tiesto, Dave Aude, Benny Benassi and Manhattan Clique to remix E.T. which just made my day get even better. What I can't believe is that with all her singles California Gurls, Teenage Dream and Firework burning up the charts, how hasn't her sophomore album not gone platinum yet? She's got to start hanging out with her industry "BFF" RiRi more so that those sales can rub off on her. In the meantime listen to the original and Manhattan Clique remixes below...

While promoting her sophomore album No Boys Allowed, Keri Hilson stopped by 105.1's The Breakfast Club with Charlamagne Da God to talk about Flopiara's low Basic Instinct record sales, working on Dr. Dre's long-awaited Detox album, working with Timbaland & Polow Da Don, and if she took Lil Kim off of her album because she got a call from Nicki Minaj. I also heard that Ciara unfollowed Keri on Twitter due to the comments in the interview, but if CiCi was listening, it was Charlamagne who went in on Ciara. Take the beef up with him, not Keri. NATALIA KILLS TO OPEN FOR ROBYN ON NEXT TOUR

Now here's some fantabulous news that has got me GAGGING! Last week my current obsession natalia Kills released her new video “Activate My Heart” which is just so delish. Now comes word that she will be the opening act for Cherrytree labelmate Robyn's next tour in the Spring. This will be the second time Natalia has toured with the Swedish pop phenom, who will take a break in January to work on the follow-up to her ferosh Body Talk series.

I cannot wait until Natalia's album finally hits stores, and anyone who tries to comapre her to another Cherrytree artist who loves tweeting every three seconds about her third album and the way it will be born, a stan will get shot.
