TRAILER TRASH: REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS
I think after watching Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, jackie Collins' brains exploded all over my computer. Just as we ushered out another brand of Bravo housewives (that being NJ), we have to gear up for two more housewives shows in October. Real Housweives of Atlanta will explode all over our screens as well as another damn spin-off, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The list of priviledged plastic airheads will include Camille Grammer (soon-to-be ex-wife of Kelsey). You can read the rest of the cast mates and their bios below (via –Charlotte Triggs at People).
Camille Grammer, who filed for divorce from her husband of 13 years, Frasier star Kelsey Grammer, in July, will appear on the series. The mother of two is said to share several on-camera scenes with her ex during the upcoming season. Grammer owns a TV production company and has a collection of rare first edition books, including Pride and Prejudice and The Sound and the Fury.
Adrienne Maloof: The New Mexico native is part of the Maloof dynasty, which owns the Sacramento Kings basketball team and the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. She has three young sons — Gavin, 7, and twins Christian and Colin, 4 — with her husband, prominent plastic surgeon Dr. Paul Nassif.
Kim Richards: A child star who appeared in Disney films like Escape to Witch Mountain, she now has four children — Brooke, 24, Whitney, 20, Chad, 19, and Kimberly, 15 — and spends her time on her businesses, which include a jewelry line and a bottled water charity.
Kyle Richards: She’s Kim’s sister and also appeared in Escape to Witch Mountain as well as Little House on the Prairie and E.R. Kyle is married to realtor Mauricio Umansky and has four daughters — Farrah, 21, Alexia, 14, Sophia ,10, and Portia, 2. The Richards other sister is Kathy Hilton — Paris Hilton‘s mom.
Lisa Vanderpump: The British restaurateur is a new fixture on the Beverly Hills scene, running two restaurants and writing a skincare column in Beverly Hills Lifestyle magazine. Married for 29 years to her husband Ken, she’s the mother to Pandora, 24, and Max, 18. She also has four dogs.
Taylor Armstrong: Wife of a venture capitalist, Armstrong moved to Beverly Hills seven years ago from Oklahoma, and focuses on raising her daughter Kennedy, 4. She also runs her own SAP firm, eImplement Inc., and volunteers for the 1736 Family Crisis Center.
LOGO'S NEW GAY HOUSEWIVES MORE LIKE THE ZZZZZZZ LIST
Just what we need. More nelly queens heating up our television screens. I yearn for the day when we can get some actual gay diversity outside of the shit we are getting with. I can't stress enough that especially in New York City, the melting pot of the U.S. that there's alot more to the gay scene than a bunch of white queens trying to snatch Rachel Zoe's front row seat at Fashion week. get into another tired night at Splash, and if they can keep their botox appointment or their next mint tea and avocado facial in Chelsea. Not only that, but if they stopped trying to feed us the same bullshit we get from the Real Housewives series (which they are clearly ripping off) and showed some actual movers and shakers who are trying to get through this crazy recession, I'm sure people would watch. Logo seriously needs a program director badly because if they believe having a bunch of nelly queens on a TV show for the amusement of advertisers and fag hags will bring in the ratings, they are seriously mistaken. Oh, and the sight of Reichen Lehmkuhl makes my asshole itch (and not in a good way). The only one I am remotely interested in is photographer Mike Ruiz, because I am a huge fan of his work. He's actually the only one on this show who is A list.
I also find it hilarious that no one would sign on to the show because Logo wanted to do a show about gay men who only date power gays, which would have shown them in the light of being "kept". They wouldn't go for it so Logo had to change the name, but the premise stays the same. I'm not one to knock anyone's hustle, so if you want to be a kept bitch, be the best kept bitch you can be. You are the only one who has to look in the mirror and live with the person you are. I'm sure many would kill to be in that position. So live it up and have fun with playing your position. Just remember to douche.

VANESSA WILLIAMS VAMPS IT UP IN NEW DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES PROMO
For the past few seasons, I've been on the fence about the direction Desperate Housewives was going in. I had invested so much in the show over the years, it was hard for me to let go of the ladies of Wisteria Lane. It wasn't that hard for me to give up on the annoying docs of Grey's Anatomy, which I stopped watching after season 2. What really got my juices going over DH was the fact that Mark Cherry had swooped down and snatched up Vanessa Williams shortly after "Ugly Betty" was cancelled. I lived for her playing the bitchy Wilhelmina Slater and you know she will bring the pain to DH's new season. I was just worried that DH would plop her onn the show to fill some kind of minority quota like they tried to do when they added Alfre Woodard and her crazy family in season 2. To me, Vanessa embodies the Wisteria Lane woman. Someone who is olers, sexy, sassy, and versatile. The show definitely needed a pick-me-up after creator Marc Cherry fired Nicolette Sheridan, and I believe Vanessa Williams will do just that. Oh, and Brian Austin green will be on the show as well as a potential love interest for Bree. Now if only they can give Gabrielle's gay neighbors as well as Bree's gay son Andrew something to do. Desperate Housewives kicks off it's seventh season on September 26 on ABC. Can't wait!

AMERIIE SIGNS WITH NEW PR FIRM FOR FORTHCOMING POP ALBUM
After her last album "In Love and War" failed to chart in the U.S., Ameriie is pulling out all the stops to make sure all her priorities are in order for her forthcoming fifth album, Cymatika Vol. 1. Ameriie recently signed with a new PR company Lucid Group to make sure she gets the publicity she deserves. Lucid Group represent diverse artists such as Alexandra Burke and Shakira.
“I am so excited to be working with the super talented Ameriie again! I love this new thing of being able to look after non-Sony artists” her new publicist Shoshanna Stone Tweeted. “New album is a pop album and first single is amazing!”
Like Ms. Rowland, I'm rooting for Ameriie to win with her fifth record. I'm really liking DIY Ameriie and that she's not allowing the majors to dictate the fate of her career. I just wish she didn't wait five albums later to add another damn "I" to her name.

As I have stated many times on this blog, I am not a big Usher fan. Everything he does comes off as calculated and strategic. But when an artist I don't particularly care for releases a hot song, I'll be the first one to give props to them if I like it. Haven't gotten my claws on his Ep "Versus", but I have been bumping his "Hot Tottie" song which originally had Jay Z on it. Now Lil Kim, who is alleged to have signed a new record deal with Hov's Roc Nation label has added a 16 to the "Hot Tottie" remix. Personally I like this version with Kim on it and I'm hoping Ursh releases this version with a music video when he drops this Polow Da Don track as his next single.

I never understand how hip hop music can be so homophobic, embrace and exploit prison culture, but try their best to exclude women from the industry. For years I have been saying why women arn't getting the same kind of love and financial support as a Eminem or 50 Cent? Why doesn't Eve have her brand of vitamin water? With it being such a boys club I can't help give the side eye, and mumble mmmhmm, if you know what I'm saying and I think you do. Check out the BET special where they sat down with everyone from Eve to MC Lyte to Lady of Rage and Salt N Pepa about where female hip hop has gone to where it is today. My favorite part of the interview was when they started talking about Lauryn Hill, and how she changed the game from hip hop becoming hypersexualized to Lauryn bringing women's issues to the forefront. I just hope when female hip hop does make the comeback it deserves, it can also go back to being about the talent and how you hold your own against the baddest male MC, and not about going on stage wearing a purple wig with a garder squeezed over your new ass implants. I just wish they could have gotten Kim and Foxy to talk on this.

NELLY FURTADO PERFORMS TWO NEW SONGS AT ORANGE WARSAW MUSIC FESTIVAL
Nelly Furtado has been putting alot of work in promoting the hell out that horrible spanish album. So while performing at the Orange Warsaw Festival in Poland, fans were in for a treat when she performed two brand new songs from her forthcoming album, "Lifestyle". The album was supposed to be released this simmer, but was pushed back to the fall after Nelly wanted to put more time into the spanish record and work on more material for "Lifestyle". And based on her rambling at the festival, it looks like the new record won't be out until 2011. Let's hope she can get the record cracking in stores pretty soon. LADY GAGA PREMIERES NEW SONG "LIVING ON THE RADIO" FOR HER MINNESOTA MONSTERS
For those Stans who attended Lady Gaga's Monster's Ball in Minnesota, they got a front row seat to a brand new song called “Living on the Radio”. The song is about how she sacrificed her relationship and friends for fame and fortune, and if it weren't for her fans she wouldn't know how to make it through all the stress that comes with being a celebrity. It's no secret that Lady Gaga has wrapped her third LP which is slated for release in 2011, but I guess she's become so sick of performing the same songs every night she thought to shake it up a bit and see how the fans take to the new music. It's also too early to say whether or not the song will make the final cut of her untitled third album which she says she will announce on New Year's Eve. Personally I prefer piano ballad Gaga over the flash (which is entertaining at times, but gets a bit old and pretentious after a while). You really feel her soul come through the music when it's just her and a piano. I'm sure her label will prefer that she release more cheesy RedOne songs, because it's easier for them to market. Gaga is different from so many pop stars that have come and gone, so if they allow her the balance between strong piano ballads and uptempo electro pop songs, I'd definitely support her next record. What do you guy's think of "Living on the Radio"?
MADONNA WANTS TO TOUR WITH LADY GAGA
For those who have been following the career of Madonna for over 20 years, every die hard Madonnaciple knows that when she becomes inspired by someone (or something), she obsesses over it until she does her daily ritual of drinking the blood of baby virgins, sucks all the creativity from her inspirations with a straw, and moves on to the next best thing. Well Lady Gaga better wrap her snatch in a chastity belt blessed with holy water and the jism of men over 65 because Madonna is ready to snatch some of that creativity you've been hording downtown. According to News of the World, Madonna is so Gaga over the "Poker Face" singer that she wants to collaborate on a joint tour.
The tab quotes an unnamed “source” as saying, “Madonna is absolutely obsessed with Gaga… and desperately wants to work with her.” The sourse also claims that ”Basically Gaga can name her price” to be a part of Madonna’s upcoming tour.
I for a fact do not believe this story at all. A) Madonna is currently working on her second directorial overseas, so the last thing she's thinking about right now is music. As I reported last week she did cut a track with David Guetta for the re-release of his 2009 album "One Love", but I'm sure the only promotion she will have on the track is maybe perform it on a couple of shows and possibly a music video if the label decides to release it as a single. B) As for Gaga, she busy touring the world with The Monster's Ball and cutting some new tracks for her third album (which she said was finished last month, but has since gotten inspired to write more music). With their crazy schedules there's no way you can get two pop stars with so many fans and status on a joint tour together or even to cut a song. I might sound crazy for saying this (like that's ever stopped me before), but we'd see Gaga and Xtina cut a song together before we see Madonna and Gaga cut one.

Now I have word on the rest of the confirmed cast. People has reported that Baywatch alum David Hasselhoff, former NFL star Kurt Warner, singer Michael Bolton, celebrity babymama Bristol Palin, actress Jennifer Grey, Florence Henderson, The Hills star Audrina Patridge, former Los Angeles Laker Rick Fox, singer Brandy, comedian Margaret Cho and actor Kyle Massey have officially joined the season 11 lineup. Lawd help us if Cheryl Burke and her ten head is paired with The Situation and his butterface. The new season of DTWS will air on sept. 20 on ABC.

RYAN REYNOLDS AND BRADLEY COOPER FETCH THE HANDCUFFS IN FEATURE COMEDY
Ryan Reynolds and Bradley Cooper are teaming up to star in a film together, but not in my dream X rated one. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the pair will star in a action-comedy about two San Francisco cop buddies whose fathers, former police partners, come out of retirement to help the younger pair solve a case.
The untitled project is said to have “an updated Lethal Weapon flavor that plays into edgier R-rated territory.” There’s no word yet on which actors would be tapped to play the two fathers, but might I suggest Bruce Willis and Robert DeNiro?
Reynolds (with The Proposal) and Cooper (with The Hangover) starred in two of last year’s biggest box office hits. Reynolds just wrapped Green Lantern and can be seen next in the horror film, Buried.

D-BOX JOINS FORCES WITH RESIDENT EVIL: AFTERLIFE
With the current 3D craze going around, I was wondering along with the glasses, why haven't they created something like at Great Adventure where wile you are watching on of their features, you enjoy the 3D experience while the seats rotate and vibrate along with the action. Well someone must've been listening in on my thoughts, because it was just announced that D-BOX Technologies Inc. will feature their D-BOX's immersive MFX along with Sony's Resident Evil: Afterlife in selected theatres on September 10.
"The consistent support of movie studio giants like Sony speaks volumes about industry and consumer confidence in our immersive motion technology," said President and Chief Executive Officer of D-BOX Technologies, Claude Mc Master. "This is our second collaboration and we are pleased to add an exciting, action-packed sci-fi thriller to our growing catalogue of D-BOX Motion Code supported films."
D-Box is a seat that moves around while you watch the film. I just hope that with all the technological stops they're pulling for this film that it doesn't suck ass! Resident Evil: afterlife 3D, which stars Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Spencer Locke, Wentworth Miller, Shawn Roberts, Boris Kodjoe, Kim Coates, Norman Yeung, and Kasey Barnfield will be in theaters on September 10.
ANDY COHEN TALKS ABOUT TUSSLE WITH NJ HOUSEWIFE
In a means to hype up tonght's first in a two-part explosive Real Housewives of NJ reunion special, Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen talked to The Hollywood Reporter about being thrown in his chair like a rag doll by SHEresa Giudice and her widow's peak after he tried to keep the housewives from bringing physical harm to Danielle. I get that the more explosive you react on camera the more screen time you get on Bravo, but there comes a time where Andy seriously needs to focus less on his queeny shit eating grin and his love of all terrible songs by them talentless housewives, and man up a bit more.
Says Cohen:
"If there would ever be a situation where someone was in jeopardy of physical harm, production would ensure that it didn't get to that level. We don't want anyone to feel threatened. On [tonight's] reunion episode, there is a moment where I'm actually concerned. We've had two situations where someone has gotten out of their seat in a threatening way. And in this case, I thought, 'OK, I have to intervene.' And just watch what happens when I try to get between Teresa and Danielle...The New Jersey reunion is the best one we've done. It's the icing on the cake of two intense seasons. The last 10 minutes of Part 2 is totally under wraps, but it's the party that will really have people talking -- even beyond me being thrown around like a rag doll by ['RHNJ' star] Teresa [Giudice]. I get a first-hand account of how strong she is...She did [throw me down]! The tweets I'm getting are hilarious. People are saying, 'How could you let her push you?' and 'Andy, are you hurt?' I should have gotten hazard pay for this one."

LAURYN HILL BRINGS DOWN THE HOUSE WITH "ROCK THE BELLS" CONCERT
After doing a couple of shows overseas, Lauryn Hill took center stage for her headlining gig at the 7th Annual Rock the Bells Festival, which took place on Governors Island in New York on Saturday (Aug. 28). Among the celebrities who came to see L-Boogie in action including Mary J. Blige, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, a very preggers Alicia Keys and husband Swizz Beatz, Chris Rock, John Legend, and Fugees’ producer Jerry Wonder.
Based on the performances, she was full of energy and skills tighter than ever, it's like Lauryn never left. I understand you got a litter of Marleys to raise, but in this era od disposeable pop, we definitely need some realism in real music right now. So fingers crossed that after she finishes touring Ms. Hill will run to the studio and record a new album.

The good thing that has come out of this is the remixes. Emancipate or 22nd Century would have been better choices (and I'm sure they could have came up with some cool video concepts), but unfortunately, I'm not Kelis's A & R so I don't have control over what comes out. KYLIE MINOGUE WILL TOUR THE U.S. AGAIN
Last week when she performed "Get Outta My Way" for the first time on American television, those who didn't get a chance to witness all her fabulosity live during her small U.S. tour got a taste of what's to come. Now Kylie Minogue has announced that come 2011, she will be squeezing in some U.S. dates for her upcoming Les Folies world tour. Here is the announce via Access Hollywood:

Listen up, Kylie Minogue fans! The Aussie pop diva will return to the U.S. to tour in 2011, she tells Access Hollywood exclusively.

BEYONCE ALBUM NEWS
After putting enough work into the campaign for the House of Diarrhea collection and taking a brief vacation with husband Jay Z, Beyonce is back at work, hitting the studio to work on the follow-up to her successful album, I Am...Sasha Fierce. Ne*Yo spilled the beans that he would be working with Bey on some new songs. I guess these two have buried the hatchett after he let it be known a few years back that the singer tried to take credit for writing her huge hit "Irreplaceable". Just when I started to think Beyonce would step out of her comfort zone, here she is sticking with the same formula by collaborating with Darkchild, Jim Jonsin and The-Dream, producers she has worked with in the past. Since the album is in it's beginning stages, I will take these collaborators with a grain of salt, and I'm hoping that Beyonce and her dream team can come up with much better tracks on the new album because Sasha Fierce was my least favorite album by her.

I wondered while watching this trailer why we don't get alot of female revenge action films in Hollywood? Below is a synopsis of both films:
In a post-apocalyptic Japan, Yokohama City is ruled by a vicious gang run by The Jack Brothers. After they murder Milly’s family and leave her to die, she vows revenge. Milly learns swordsmanship from master swordsman Jubei to battle The Jack Brothers. Desperate to make any money he can Jonathan joins the ranks of one of the deadliest fighting rings in the city. Now with each fight he lays his life on the line and with each win he gets closer to raising the money he needs. But life on the streets is unpredictable and as one last fight takes a vicious turn everything that Jonathan has trained so hard for just might be lost forever. Just by looking at the trailer it's pretty low budget, and the acting is sub par, but one thing that this film does have is plenty of heart and clever fight scenes.

Kelly Rowland, who just recently performed an intimate show for fans in NYC last week took some time out of her busy recording schedule to discuss and perform her new US single “Rose Colored Glasses” on iheartradio. If you are a fan of 70's blaxploitation films and hot chicks, this is definitely a film you may want to check out. Bitch Slap is about three buxom bad girls arrive at a desert hideaway where a ruthless underworld boss resides to raise hell and the situation quickly spins out of control. Zoe Bell, who was the stuntdouble for Lucy Lawless in Xena:Warrior Princess, Uma Thurman in Kill Bill, and starred in Angel of Death as well as Tarantino's Death Proof serves as Stunt Coordinator.
AURAL ORGASM: KRISTINE ELEZAJ - WARPATH
You couldn't get enough of her "Souvenirs". Now Kristine Elezaj is back with a brand new single titled "Warpath". There were rumors stating that this was a Lady Gaga demo but the song was produced by Good Will, it's not a demo from Gaga or Little Boots and will be on her debut album "No Questions Remain".

TRAILER TRASH: TRUE LEGEND (Su Qi-Er)
This right along with Ong Bak 3 is one of the best martial arts movies of 2010. If you know what's good for you, head over to your favorite karate movie cart at your local mall and pick this up because you'll never see anything like this in American theaters. Stars Man Cheuk Chiu, David Carradine, Michelle Yeoh, Cung Le, Jay Chou, Zhou Xun, Gordon Liu, Andy On, Conan Stevens and directed by the legendary Woo-ping Yuen who has choreographed many a memorable fight sequence such as American classics Kill Bill vol. 1 & 2 as well as The Matrix trilogy.
62 ANNUAL EMMY AWARDS WINNERS & TUMBLERS
Another good night was had by all who attended the Emmy's. A bit over the top with the acceptance speeches, Jimmy Fallon did a great job as host, but overall I was glad to see quite a bit of my favorites win tonight. Jane Lynch for Glee, Edie Falco for Nurse Jackie, Archie Panjabi for The Good Wife and one of my fave Bravo cooking shows Top Chef for picking up a golden statue. Was also pleased that The Pacific won for best miniseries. I love historic films, and The Pacific, which was a ten part series about WWII didn't shy away from intense acting and some pretty realistic and gory war sequences. Before I forget I'm glad that Kyra Sedgwick won for the closer, but my only beef with the show is that RuPaul didn't win. Hell, he wasn't even nominated and critics as well as fans can't stop talking about the show. They didn't even acknowledge Ru's Drag Race in the video montage. Hopefully next year they will get some recognition or maybe it will be the black sheep like alot of shows that the snobby Emmy's are known for ignoring (Buffy the Vampire Slayer & True Blood anyone?) Check out the Emmy opening number featuring the cast of Glee, Mad Men's Jon Hamm, Kate Gosselin, Jimmy Fallon, Joel McHale, Lost's Jorge Garcia, Tina Fey, and Betty White. Also check out the second video which features one of the Top Chef producers almost eating floor as she tried to make her way to the stage.
