NC-17 TRAILER TRASH: CANNIBALISM TALE - POE

The NC-17 trailer for Francis Xavier's latest horror film, Poe, has reared it's ugly head online, and I have to say it looks gruesomely great. Definitely can't wait to see this.

Here is a synopsis:

"The film follows formerly acquitted and rehabilitated criminal Dr. Andrew Casey (David Fine), who relocates to Los Angeles under the alias Jack Conway, aka 'The Chef'. Conway and his butler, Mr. Peeples (Mike Iorio), establish a respected soup kitchen/charity, 'The Help Feeding Foundation', which lures the likes of actresses and models under false pretense.

The women are in fact obtained to satisfy Casey/Conway's culinary tastes. He handpicks respected writer Johnathon Poe (Stelio Savante), descendant of famed writer Edgar Allan Poe, to immortalize him in the form of an autobiography. Poe is intrigued by Conway and his lucrative offer and agrees to the assignment. Once at the house, Poe is forced to witness all manner of horrors without the ability to either escape or help the women who have been captured.

Resigned to his fate, Poe takes up the task at hand and begins recording the autobiography of Casey and his cannibalistic spree.

MARTIAL ARTIST-TURNED- MOVIE STAR CALLS ACTING 'KIND OF GAY'

Internalized homophobia much? According to the LA Times, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, who takes over the role of B.A. Baracus in the remake of The A-Team talked to a reporter from the Vancouver set of the big-budget Hollywood summer remake and his comments about acting rubbed quite a few the wrong way as they came across as homophobic. As you all may remember, the role of "B.A." was made famous in the TV series by the iconic Mr. T.

Here is what The LA Times is reporting:

"Acting is kind of gay," Jackson said. "It makes you soft. You got all these people combing your hair and putting a coat over your shoulders when you're cold. I don't want a coat over my shoulders! I'm a tough-ass [individual]!"

"Vancouver strikes me as a San Francisco-kind of place," he continued. "And I don't want [individuals] getting ideas about me. I feel in my heart I'm the toughest [individual] on the planet. And I don't want nothing changing my train of thought. If you don't believe that when we step inside the octagon, it shows."

There was even a reported altercation between Jackson and a crew member on the set: "...a movie crew member had wandered in on this final day of principal photography and — whether jokingly or not — called the muscle-bound movie star a homophobic epithet. Jackson had responded with barely contained fury. He threw the guy out, shouting him down with every conceivable gay slur."



Has he been drinking from the same Kool-Aid as Roy 'I'm Not Gay' Mayweather? I find it very funny that Rampage would make such comments when he plays in one of the gayest sports I can think of. They spend all that time grinding their cocks against each other with all that wrestling they do in their mixed martial arts training. I think he needs to re-examine his idea of what gay is.

BEYONCE SUED YET AGAIN (BUT THIS TIME NOT FOR SWAGGER-JACKING SOMEONE ELSE'S MUSIC)

Is it just me or does it seem like Beyonce's getting a lawsuit thrown her way every other week? Ususally the lawsuits accuse her of stealing other people's songs (which is no big secret since she makes it so damn obvious), but this time, the lawsuit sent her way is just plain ridiculous.

Some nosy ho who lives in an upscale Hollywood Hills neighborhood has filed a $25,000 lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court against the 'Irreplaceable' singer, and her production coordinator Dina Ciccotello who were shooting her latest video “Why Don’t You Love Me?” across the street from his residence. The complainer Philip Markowitz is suing Bey for nuisance and trespassing, and says his “privacy was invaded” by the noisy crowds that were working on the video shoot. Although the video only too one day to shoot, Markowitz claims that his solitude was “shattered” by the presence of the video shoot and that his driveway was repeatedly blocked.

Mark my words this shit'll be thrown out of court because I'm sure they had all the proper permits. Bey is a superstar, and you can't control the amount of nosy asses that want to get a glimpse of the singer. Maybe if she stole something like your record collection to get inspiration for her next album you'd have more to go on, but this is some bullshit!

KYLIE MINOGUE PERFORMS 'ALL THE LOVERS' IN ITALY

Pop goddess Kylie Minogue, (who turned 42 on May 28th), premiered the first ever live performance of her latest single 'All The Lovers' at the 2010 Wind Music Awards in Italy over the weekend. The ‘All The Lovers’ video will premiere next week and will be available to download from June 13, with a full release to follow on June 28. Aphrodite, Minogue's 11th studio album will be available to purchase in July. The quality of the film isn't so great, but when the episode finally airs and better quality footage makes it to the internet, I will post it.

Congratulations are in order for 42-year-old Celine Dion and her daddy/ husband René Angelil. Instead of heading back into the studio to record another album, pop phenom P!nk kicked off the ‘Funhouse Summer Concert Tour’, in Cologne, Germany.

Yesterday Lady Gagmewithadildo had a 2-hour live chat with Show Studio, where she fed people what they wanted to hear regarding her music and her 'art.' During the interview, Gaga talked about her third album which is on the verge of being done:

My new album that I’m creating, that is finished pretty much, was written with this new instinctual energy. My fans protect me, it’s now my destiny to protect them.

SCISSOR SISTERS SAY PET SHOP BOYS SAVED THEIR ALBUM

The Scissor Sisters may have been out of commission for a while, but while we haven't heard much from them (until recently), they've been keeping very busy. While working on new music for Kylie Minogue, their own record, and the music for the stage version of Armistead Maupin's 'Tales of the City', Jake Shears felt creatively numb after receiving poor reception of earlier tracks that were supposed to be featured on Night Work. Here is what he told Spinner magazine about how Night Work became what is sure to be the best dance record of the year.

Shortly after the album's lukewarm reception, Shears, who was already working on so many other projects decided to clear his head by leaving the country. While partying in Berlin, he found inspiration for the band's new direction after having a conversation with Pet Shop Boy and sometime Berlin resident Neil Tennant. Tennant suggested Shears call up his friend Stuart Price.

"Neil said, 'Why don't you just call Stuart and see what's going on?' At that point, I think Jake was just looking for a really good friend and a good sounding board to bounce off ideas," Matronic says.

A short while later, Shears gave Ana Matronic a call in New York to tell her the good news.

"[Jake] was so excited and Stuart was so excited. Stuart said to Jake, 'I would drop everything to make a record with you guys.' So that next weekend, Stuart and Babydaddy were out in Berlin and then a week or two after that, I went to London to work in the studio with them," she explains of the writing sessions that resulted in their real third album, 'Night Works,' which is due June 29. "It was all just this great creative explosion, all caused by Neil Tennant."

Shears played the record again for those same friends and got the praise he was looking for. Night Work features a glittering fusion of 80's-influenced dance-floor pop music that will have you ready to hit the dancefloor in no time.

"People jumped up and down and clapped like little kids," Matronic says, laughing. "[It] was really exciting."

Can't wait until this album is finally released. Night Work is in stores in June.

Prepare for another classic to get ruined. Platinum Dunes and producer Michael Bay have decided to leave some our favorite 80's horror films alone for a second to ruin yet another classic. According to Deadline, New York they've decided to bring to life a live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film.

Platinum Dunes, will combine forces with Paramount and Nickelodeon to bring one of my favorite cartoons to the big screen. The franchise began as a black and white comic book series in 1984, before bocoming a popular animated series in 1987. It was spawned into a hit live-action film in 1990, and spawned two live-action sequels afterward. Years later it was then made into a live-action television series, a second animated series and a CGI feature film. The first TMNT was my favorite movie growing up as a kid. I begged my parents to take me to see it and was obsessed afterwards. I do forgive them for that Vanilla Ice 'Ninja Rap' song in the sequel. If they ruin TMNT like they did to Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street, heads will roll!

WANTED STAR TO PLAY MAGNETO IN X MEN: FIRST CLASS

Ever since it was announced that another X Men movie was in the works (featuring a younger cast), many fanboys were wondering if Hugh Jackman, Partick Stewart and any other past cast members would be returning. Word on the street is that X Men: First Class, which is being directed by Matthew Vaughn (Kick Ass) has hired James McAvoy (Wanted) as a young Charles Xavier. The movie will highlight professor X as he discovers his superpowers, his life before he was bound to the wheelchair, and before he became frenemies with Magneto. The film begins shooting this summer for a June 3, 2011 release. More on the cast as this story develops.

I loved Kick-Ass and I think Vaughn is perfect to direct this film. I also don't believe he will fuck up the X Men franchise like Brett Ratner did. James McAvoy is a perfect choice. Now I'm wondering what's going on with Wanted 2? More on this story as it develops.

BLAKE McGRATH - THE NIGHT (ONLY PLACE TO GO)

Here is the debut single from So You Think You Can Dance (season 1) contestant, choreographer and reality star (on the short-lived MTV JLO reality series Dance Life). Blake was also judge on Canada's So You Think You Can Dance and has danced for many big celebrities, most noteably Janet Jackson (which the choreo reminds me of). Blake is looking to take his career to the next level by adding singer to his resume. If Jennifer Lopez and Paula Abdul can do it, I'm sure there's room for Blake as well. Also since Blake is a choreographer, it saves him some money hiring one.
