Janet previously announced back in November that she will be heading out on tour to perform all her number 1 hits voted on by her fans. Ms. Jackson (if you nasty) has announced that her largest ever world tour will kick off on February 14th at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (Hong Kong was voted by fans as the city she should start the tour).
Here's what Janet had to say about starting her tour in Hong Kong via her website: “The fans really reached out and voted for Hong Kong to be the Valentine’s Day city of our Number Ones tour. I am thrilled to receive your votes and I will be performing in Hong Kong Feb 14, 2011!”
Before she heads out on tour, janet will drop her inspirational book True You on February 8. The Rhythm Nation singer has said the book will take readers into her lifelong struggle with weight and exercise, meant to inspire those who need to improve their self-esteem. Go on, Miss Janet! Now if only Madonna would do a tour of all her hits.
P.S. Since Ciara is basically Janet 2.0 (with a dash of Aaliyah thrown in for good measure), wouldn't it be hot if Janet had CiCi open for her?
