BEYAWNCE CAUGHT IN YET ANOTHER SONGWRITING SCANDAL

Beyonce seriously needs to learn to keep a tight lid on her mischievous doings, because it seems every other day there's some news that's coming out regarding her taking credit for other people's work. Recently some news came out that she has taken directing, producing and editing credit on her new I Am..tour DVD, although when having a chat with reporter Cynthia McFadden she had no idea how to use Final Cut Pro (bitch hiring someone to edit your film does not mean you have editing experience, something I went to film school for).

The latest T spillation comes courtesy of hit music producer Soundz, who opened up about Beyonce's songwriting skills (or lack thereof) during a recent interview with music blog That Grape Juice. Soundz, who produced Ciara’s “Gimmie Dat” and Rihanna’s “Skin”, talked about his work on the Usher and Beyonce collabo “Love In this Club Part II.”

“No no no {laughs}! Beyonce didn’t do it [write "Love In This Club"]. She’s an artist who believes that she’s a superstar and she needs superstar writers to write for her…”

“I rather a person be a superstar than be a superhuman,” he continues. “I think that singers are supposed to be like superheroes; they’re supposed to do things that we can’t do. When I do a song, Beyonce knows she does things that no one can do so she realises that she doesn’t have to write it; she’ll just cut the hell out of it.”

Soundz was also asked his opinion on why Beyonce gets 20% of the publishing for her songs when she probably changes one word theoughout the entire song to get a singwriting credit:

“Well, she promotes the record to the highest level. She’s the best in the game at promoting a record and when she does one of your records you’ll get a single, radio, commercials and movies. There are so many different types of money that comes with Beyonce when you do a record for her so it’s kind of like the price of admission – the price to get all the other aspects is that you have to pay a little bit.

“She’ll want a little publishing and that’s guaranteed; she’s going to ask for it and you’re going to give it to her; no ifs, ands or buts. She’s going to make that record the biggest hit in the world so give her that publishing. She’ll take about 20%.”

This sounds like some Matthew Knowles brainwashing to me. Didn't Lady Gaga's ex say the same thing about her trying to take credit for Bootylicious? I understand as a producer it would be a dream to have some superstsar sing your songs and make it a hit, but if this is true what about your dignity and reputation. Sometimes I wonder if Beyonce is even a virgo? As a fellow virgo myself, we are perfectionists to a fault and are the most opinionated and honest people you'll ever meet. Beyonce being a fake ass and lying not only about writing certain songs or her age (do you really think she's 29?) astounds me. Look at Rihanna. She didn't write one single song on Loud and it's one of the biggest albums of 2010. You don't see her going around stealing writing credits and claiming your tour DVD was all your idea. I don't think people will be mad at you if you didn't write your hit  songs. Beyonce is one of the hardest working celebrities in the music business, so whether or not you wrote a song will not lose you respect as an artist. Taking credit for other people's hard work will.
