WATCH: DARREN CRISS IS ALL UP FOR MAKING OUT WITH KURT ON GLEE

I've been on the fance with the second season of Glee, disappointed in the ridiculous plot points and confusing segways into their music homages (Britney episode anyone?) While Chris Colfer's Kurt may be aesthetically stereotypical gay, I do love that Ryan Murphy is pushing the envelope regarding gay teens, and  I love the fact that Kurt will get a boyfriend this season. Darren Criss, who makes his debut tonight as the unapologteically confident and gay Blaine from Dalton Academy for Boys talked to E! news about his hopes for his character being a positive role model for gay teens, and his future on Glee. What I love about Darren is that he didn't go the typical uncomfortable route and give an ignorant response towards kissing another guy in the future. If you are an actor and have a problem playing a gay role, then don't play gay because you're going to have to kiss a guy (and do other stuff depending on what the role requires).
