Just when you thought Z list celebrity competition shows couldn't possibly get any worse, ABC has found a show to promote more ambarrassing than Dancing With the Nobodies. A few weeks ago, I had been hearing rumblings about a skating show in the works by the Disney network (which I could have sworn was tried and failed a few years back on FOX) and during the results show of DWTS, the very short line-up was announced.
Skating with the Stars cast:
Sean Young - Star of one of my favorite films Blade Runner and notorious Tim Burton hater
Rebecca Budig - Greenlee on All My Children
Bethenny Frankel - Icy reality star and Bravolebrity
Vince Neil - Former Motley Crue member and Sharon Osbourne hater
Brandon Smith - Disney star
Jonny Mosely - Olympic gold-medal skater
When I watched the Real Housewives of NYC last season, I would have thought Jill Zarin would have been a part of this, but I guess since Bethenny needs all the craziness she can get to spark interest in her solo reality show's second season, there's nothing better than having a couple of her nasty ass Skinny Bitch Margarita's and falling flat on your face. This show sounds like it's the second coming of shit on my TV, but if Johnny Weir signs up to be the Derek Hough of skating, I'm soooooo there!
Update: Johnny Weir and Dick Button will be judges on the show. Skating With the Stars premieres on November 22.
