CHRISTINA MILIAN TALKS NEW ALBUM

After becoming a mom earlier this year, and going through an ugly divorce with producer The Dream, Christina Milian made an appearance last night at the 2010 AMA's (where she presented beside the  ever-so flamboyant Johnny Weir). While Christina hung out backstage amongst the throes of paparazzi, the songstress opened up a bit to Rap-Up about the state of her album, which she was working on with her ex-husband.

“Next year I’ll finally be putting out a new album,” Christina said backstage at the American Music Awards. “I think I always say that, but this time I mean it. I just had to find some time to revamp and regroup everything for what this new album’s gonna be. It’s gonna be fun, it’s gonna be sexy, it’s gonna be everything that embodies what has happened in my life, but of course in the most fun manner.”

“There are a lot of secrets that are gonna be on there, I’m sure I’ll get to expose lots of sexy details,” she added. “It’s gonna be fun, a lot of really good energy, a lot of great club songs. A lot of real intimate songs that are just true to my heart and what goes on in my life. It’s gonna be done through Interscope Records and we’re just getting started on revamping that album now.”

I'm really hoping CM brings it on her new album, and "Dip It Low" is still by far my favorite Christina Milian song. She should have been bigger than JLo, but I don't know what happened. I say go the Kat Deluna route and get that record overseas first. Don't keep us waiting too long.
