Deadline is reporting that Tom Hardy has nabbed a major role in director Christopher Nolan's upcoming third Batman sequel. The two previously worked together in "Inception".
"Insiders are keeping the role secret and won't even say if he's up for a villain role, but that seems a reasonable assumption," says the site. Hardy has roles in the upcoming Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy and Warrior. He is currently filming This Means War and will star as the lead in Mad Max: Fury Road. Really looking forward to not only finding out what role Tom will play, but what villains will be in Batman 3. I hope Joseph Gordon-Levitt gets a part in this film as well.
