LISTEN TO FAR EAST MOVEMENT'S "FREE WIRED" ALBUM BEFORE IT HITS STORES
I immediately fell in love with Far East Movement when I discovered them on Tour with Robyn over the summer. Then I fell deeper in love with the quartet when I heard their songs "Like a G6" and "Girls on the Dancefloor" banging in the clubs. I have to say this album is hands down my favorite dance/pop record of the year. When I saw them perform on Lopez Tonight Last week, they reminded me of a group you'd find on MTV's hit competition show "America's Best Dance Crew." The album reminded me of the type of music you'd find Pitbull doing, but what Far East Movement does is bring an underground sensibitlity to their music and gives it that crossover appeal. No one is doing one type of genre anymore, and I love the fact that they are stepping out of the box and bringing a new vibe to dance and party music. Get into the Auralgasmic sounds of Far East Movement below and make sure you cop their album when it drops on October 12 via Cherrytree Records (home to Robyn, LaRoux and Lady Gargoyle).
