Thank goodness for the internet, because I set my DVR to record Em in 60 Minutes, and instead some damn football game went into overtime, not only fucking up my chances of seeing this interview on TV, but it also interfered with the latest episode of CSI: Miami. He also talked about his views on gays, which he came under fire for in the early stages of his career. Eminem pissed off everybody, and I felt he said controversial things to bring attention to his music - and it worked. Maybe his being white made it easier for GLAAD to go after him, but DMX and countless others say the same thing and no one goes after him. Kids shouldn't be listening to Eminem anyway. My parents were pretty strict when it came to music I listened to and movies I watched. There is no excuse. I see Em as an insult comic as well as an MC. He will say things that are politically incorrect, and that's ok. Too many people run around policing the words that come out of their mouth because they are afraid of what others will think.
