CEE-LO GREEN DISCUSSES "FUCK YOU", LAUNCHES LATE NIGHT TALK SHOW

Now this is some spectacular news. Fuse is launching a new late night talk show on their network and have recruited singer/MC Cee Lo Green as the host. Here is what he tole Rap Up about what people can expect from his show which will feature him hanging out and questioning his many guests, which will  range from hip-hop to rock acts. “I’ve interviewed the likes of Ludacris, T-Pain, Janelle Monáe, [and] Public Enemy. This is all in the first season, so just those few names alone lets you know how diverse the guests will be. Then of course there’s me. I am a fan of music so I get a chance to shine a spotlight on that.”

Out of all the guests he's chatted with, he says he was mostly smitten by Monae. “I personally believe that Janelle Monáe is the next big thing,” Cee Lo admits. “She’s the next big thing, once she gets that record. Sometimes you can’t be such a fan of yourself, you have to sit down and see who’s a fan of yours. Let them inspire you to find that record. I had to do it, it’s not the easiest thing to do.”

I've always yearned for a show that got down to the essence of creating music, understanding the person behind the art, and not focus on the same tepisd bullshit you see on TV today where all everyone wants to talk about is what Lady Gargoyle's wearing, which direction Lesbieber combed his hair, and the latest Rihanna single. We got a bit of that substance when Henry Rollins had his show not too long ago on IFC, unfotrunately I have no idea what happened to the show. Looking forward to Cee Lo's show when it finally airs. In the meantime, check out the interview below where he talks about his new single "Fuck You," working with Bruno Mars, his new album, and music sticking to his balls.
