BOURNE SCREENWRITER TO DIRECT FOURTH INSTALLMENT

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

According to Deadline, Tony Gilroy, the director of Michael Clayton and Duplicity, has signed on to direct The Bourne Legacy, the  fourth installment in the Jason Bourne franchise Gilroy, who wrote the screenplays for The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum will replace Paul Greengrass who directed the second and third sequels. The Bourne Identity was directed by Doug Liman.

In previous interviews, Mr. Bourne himself Matt Damon publicly stated that he would not return to the franchise if Greengrass didn't direct, I think it would be a mistake if he doesn't return especially since The Bourne Ultimatum was the best in the series. So many espionage films have been biting off the Bourne style as of late, and there's nothing like watching the original kick butt back on screen.
