Now this is awesome news. Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Desperate Housewives actress Teri Hatcher will play mom to Erica Durance's Lois Lane for "Smallville's" 10th and final season! In the show's eighth episode titled "Abandoned," she will play her in a series of flashbacks as Lois discovers old videotapes of her mother. it will be easy for her to do these scenes in between filming DH, since she can act against a green screen (Housewives films in L.A., while Smallville shoots in Canada). As you all know Hatcher played Lois Lane for four years on ABC's "Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman." I know everyone's been bitching about the past couple of seasons of Smallville, but I feel in my bones that this will be the best season yet. Smallville kicks off it's final season this Friday at 8 pm on the CW.
