It's been over a month since it was announced that Danielle Staub has been fired from Real Housewives of NJ, and now there's news that a new housewife has been cast to replace the reality troublemaker. Radaronline is reporting that Bravo cameras have been spotted filming for the past couple of weeks at Melissa Gorga's $4 million dollar mansion. For those who don't know, Gorga is the sister-in-law of Teresa Giudice.
I've also been hearing that Teresa doesn't want to film with Gorga, because they actually don't get along. I'm also thinking since the Giudice's are embarrassed with all their financial troubles (if you ask me all brought on themselves especially with Teresa's tacky over-the-top spending sprees), yet continue to live beyond their means, maybe she feels Gorga will upstage the Guidice's with all their extravagant spending and tackiness.
“Melissa’s husband used to have a landscaping business and then he got into real estate. And she used to do his paperwork as his secretary and now she is a housewife,” the Giudice family friend said. “Their house is actually twice the size as Joe and Teresa’s. It’s enormous! She has two live-in nannies and lives in a $4 million mansion on an exclusive lot in Montville. Teresa and Joe’s house looks like a garage compared to theirs.”
It's also been alleged that if Gorga joins the show, teresa was overheard as saying she does not want to be a part of the show:
“Teresa and Melissa don’t get along…They don’t speak,” a Giudice family friend added. “She doesn’t want to be on the show with her…I don’t think that she’s made her final decision and told them [Bravo] that yet.”
Everyone knows the entire Housewife series depends on drama and scandal, and if Teresa, who doesn't have that "It" factor like Bethenny Frankel to carry her own reality show decides to not film the third season, it would be a big mistake on her part. The Giudices are 11 million in debt, and beggars can't be choosers in how they get their income. If Teresa wasn't on reality TV no one would care about her Skinny Italian cookbook and all the other endeavors she's taking on. So I say suck it up and do the show. Melissa can't be as bad as dealing with that fake mobstress Danielle.
