ROB ZOMBIE TO TAKE ON SALEM WITCHES

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Rob Zombie is set to follow up Halloween with a new film about Salem witches. According to Deadline, Zombie will write and direct Lords of Salem, a film about 300 year old witches haunting a town in Salem, Massachusetts. The Lords of Salem is also a song featured on Zombie's last album Educated Horses (a CD I have by the way). He will team up with Haunted Films - the new production company that distributed Paranormal Activity. I know there are mixed feelings about his takes on Halloween and H2, but I thouroughly enjoy his work. The Devil's Rejects happens to be my absolute favorite Zombie movie. I'm looking forward to seeing Lords of Salem, but I also wish we could get a film version of Werewolf Women of the S.S. and Tyrannosaurus Rex. Horror should be gritty, dirty and umpleasant, and I love Rob for sticking to that sense of style in his films.
