MINI DOC: DANNY TREJO HEADS BACK TO HIS HOMETOWN TO INTERACT WITH FANS

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I cannot begin to tell you how HUGE of a fan I am of Danny Trejo. The Mexican-American actor, who paid his dues before becoming Robert Rodriguez's muse by doing hard time in San Quentin is finally starring as a lead in his own film. Machete, which gained a life of it's own after fans responded well to the fake trailer created for his joint "Grindhouse" movie with Quentin Tarantino is getting rave reviews, not only because of it's extreme violence, but because of it's all-star cast which includes, Robert DeNiro, Michelle Rodriguex, Jessica Alba, and Lindsay Lohan. Trejo, 65, recently teamed up with the boys over at SA Studios, who were commissioned by Twentieth Century Fox to produce a series of viral videos promoting the film. In the following clip, Trejo and photo/videographer Estevan Oriol head over to Trejo's hometown of East L.A. where they interact with fans and talk about the movie. Machete is in theaters today and I urge you to go see it. I know I will.
