KAT DELUNA TO FINALLY RELEASE SOPHOMORE ALBUM

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

While "Push Push" failed to make a dent on the U.S. charts, Kat DeLuna has opted to set her sights overseas. After the single with Akon cracked the top twenty in Belgium, Kat has signed a deal with Universal Music Belgium to release her sophomore album Inside Out. The good news is her album will be out in November. The bad news is that it will only be released in Europe, UK and Australia. So all those hardcore fans in the U.S. may have to order it on import. I actually like Kat's musical style of mixing latin rhythms with sleek, sexy electro pop. I'm especially digging her new single "Be There," which is sweaty, sexy, and steamy beyond words. I can imagine her in some European bathhouse surrounded by sexy, sensual dancers grooving to this song with some fierce choreography. I think people need to realize that the music market is much bigger than America, and if you caught any evidence of the MTV VMA's, the latest crop of American musical artists ain't nothing to brag home about, which is why the awards was a big fat bore. Kylie's been a huge star overseas for over 20 years and she's successful. Kat can take her butt to Europe and make some good coin. It's how Kelis has managed to survive all these years in the business. When you come to perform in America do a couple gay club events and small venues. So let's get sweaty and get into "Be There," which was produced by Eightysix below:
