KANYE WEST WILL PRODUCE JOHN LEGEND'S NEXT ALBUM

John Legend, who has been making the promotional rounds for his just-released covers album with The Roots, as well as two appearances on Oprah last week, is getting ready to head into the studio with good friend Kanye West to work on his next album.

Here is what Legend had to say to Billboard about his fourth album as well as working on Kanye's five-track "Watch the Throne" EP with Jay-Z.:

“I’m starting the next solo album now. Kanye and I are executive producing together. I also worked on Kanye’s album a little bit, on the ‘POWER’ remix and other stuff,” explained Legend. “But God only knows what Kanye is actually going to put on the album and what’s going to be on the other five-song album he’s putting out.”

The last time John Legend and Kanye worked together was on his Graduation album, in which Legend sang two of my favorite tracks “Good Life” and “The Glory.” I haven't bought a John Legend record since his first album, because I wasn't feeling any of the songs from his second and third records. I think they work pretty well together, and not only will Kanye keep him on the right track musically, but whenever these two get together they create nothing but magic.
