Brandy is currently hard at work on perfecting her dance moves for the Sept. 20 season premiere of Dancing with the Stars, and now comes word that she's got the Jones for her dancing partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Bran’Nu was spotted with Maks at Japanese eatery Katsuya having dinner together.
Brandy, who should be focusing more on her career and less on dick Twatted this message: “Damn, he would make such a HOT boyfriend but let me just focus on dancing..SMH at myself..lol.”
I'm sure fans of the show will be making comments about Ms. Norwood, who they will try and compare to last year's winner Nicole Scherzinger for having some dance experience. But Brandy claims that she's not a very good dancer, and has always had trouble nailing choreography.
“What people don’t understand is I have never been a good dancer!” Brandy told USweekly. “Dancing has never been one of my strongest points. With this show, you have to do things you’ve never done before, and I’ve never done anything like this. It’s a whole new experience!”
I am definitely rooting for Brandy and hope she makes it to the semifinals. As I stated before, the new season of “DWTS” is set to premiere Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
