GLEE ACTOR TWEETS ABSENCE FROM THE SHOW
While Fox is riding on cloud nine over the second season success of their hit series Glee, one actor who's been noticeably absent is Dijon Talton. He appeared on the first season, but barely had any lines. Then when the new season started, they finally gave the Asian actor who play's Mike Chang more to do besides dance around the room during the show's signature sing-alongs. Talton took to his Twitter to explain his absence from the show:
"Hey guys, as many of you have heard, inquired or assumed I will no longer be on GLEE, for reasons that are completely out of my control. However, I will always love, appreciate and cherish my GLEE family and the incredible experience/journey we experienced together… I wish each of them individually and as a unit, nothing but the best! Also, Thank you all for all your love and support, words can’t express my gratitude! Love u all… God Bless…"
It's not news that this happens all the time in the film and television industry. Sometimes the writers look at characters to see what they can do with them, and if there's nowhere they can take them, they clean house. I'm loving the new additions of Cheyenne Jackson, Charice, and Chord Overstreet to the cast, and I wish Dijon the best on his future in the entertainment industry.
