Here is your first look at the theatrical one-sheet of Janet Jackson, Loretta Devine, Kimberly Elise, and Kerry Washington in Tyler Perry's For Colored Girls. The highly-anticipated film, which is based on Ntozake Shange's book "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf" will be in theaters on November 8, just in time for Oscar season. Let's just hope the film isn't like Perry's usual melodramatic schlock that his God-fearing base has become accustomed to. I will say as someone who is not particularly a fan of Perry's work, this is a film I am 1000% looking forward to seeing, especially since I am a fan of Elise, Washington, Jackson, and Devine.
