FIONA APPLE SET TO DROP NEW ALBUM IN 2011

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

My sister in all things Virgo (and crazy) Fiona Apple is about to drop a brand new studio album, and no one is more stoked about this bit of news than myself. I have loved this girl since Tidal, and she made me love her more with her "THE WORLD IS BULLSHIT" speech over a decade ago at the MTV VMA's (back when there was actual talent on the channel winning awards). Fiona will drop her fourth studio album in Spring, 2011. The new record was produced and mixed by Charley Drayton, who is also Apple's drummer. So many albums coming out in 2011 that I can't wait for. We're getting new records by KRow, JHud, Britney, Lady Gargoyle, Madonna (maybe) and now Fiona's about to drop one too? I'm rubing my hands together with anticipation. Now for those who are you young to remember her infamous 1997 speech at the VMA's, check out the infamous clip below (sidebar: I totally forgot Hanson's Mmmbop came out in '97).

And check out two of my favorite Fiona tracks (and videos "Sleep to Dream" and "Criminal")
