Just days after giving fans a sneak peek at his new dance single “Yeah 3x,” Chris Breezy has been keeping fans in the loop on the progress of the follow-up to his album "Graffiti."
“I’m putting out singles a lot right now, so everything’s coming together,” he revealed on Austin, Texas, radio station 102.3 The Beat. “But I’m definitely going to say this and plug it quick. The name of my album is F.A.M.E., so make sure you check it out.”
Before the Lady Gargoyle stans come out of the woodwork to call Chris a copycat (like she invented and copywrote The Fame), the title stands for “Forgiving All My Enemies,” which he got tattooed on his arm over the summer.
“I got a couple things coming to y’all in the future. I’ve got the new records coming out. I’ve got one called ‘Yeah 3x.’ It’s self-explanatory, you can probably hear it on YouTube right now, but we gon’ put it out to y’all in a couple more days or something like that,” he said. “Also, we got a record called ‘Calypso.’ I got a couple other things. So I’m trying to get everything together, figure out what I’mma do with the album.”
Most likely we won't get a new album from Chris Breezy until 2011, but if the Stans are really hongray for some new music, he's got a couple of tracks on Nelly's new album as well as a slow jam for Keri Hilson's new album, "No Boys Allowed." I'm really hoping everyone's moved beyond crucifying the singer, who is only 20 years old. So far from hearing the first single, i don't like that he's going into a dance pop direction. Usher's doing it also to sell records, and while the songs are doing very well, it's complete utter shit. I've never been a big fan of his music, but if it's got a couple of bangers, I will definitely show some love. If he's going to go into a dance direction, he needs to be doing more songs like my choice below:
