AURAL ORGASM: JESSE McCARTNEY - SHAKE

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I will be the first one to admit that I am not a Jesse McCartney fan. I've never been too big on the cheesy boy bands with mediocre songs, except for N*SYNC and Backstreet Boys. It wasn't until his 2008 album "Departure" that I started to get into his music. "How Do You Sleep" was one of my favorite songs. I even had the pleasure of meeting him in the elevator a year and a half ago when I was interning at VH1. Now after slipping underground a bit, Jesse has returned with a brand new single titled, "Shake." It still has the same hip pop vibe as "Departure," which I guess is the "if it ain't brke don't fix it" vibe he's going for. The song is pretty catchy, and I applaud Jesse for is not jumping on the current dance bandwagon just so he can sell records.
