The very sexy Darryl Stevens, who has starred in a few of my favorite gay movies like "Circuit," "Another Gay Movie," and the hit TV series that LOGO didn't know what to do with "Noah's Arc," has added musician to his resume. Following Darryl on MySpace, I've always known he's had a love for music, with his usual posts on his blog about his favorite music obsessions. I never thought for a second he would make the transition as a singer. While the song is sexy, sensual and pretty intimate, musically it's not really my cup of tea. I will give credit where it's due, and I feel we need plenty more openly gay black and latino men singing songs about love, loss, longingness, and intimacy. We have enough misogynistic music out there and I applaud Darryl's musical aspirations.
