Man how time flies. I can't believe it's been 15th years today since the untimely death of Tejano superstar, Selena Quintanilla Perez.
I was a big fan of Selena's music and was just about to cross over into the US mainstream market when she was tragically murdered by the president of her fan club, that bitch Yolanda Saldivar back in 1995. Many saw her life played out on the big screen by Jennifer Lopez (who was also about to break out as a big star herself). Like many who were taken before breaking big we'll never know if she would have been the global superstar she was meant to be, but her legacy definitely lives on.
