Rapstress of the moment Nicki Minaj says wants a role in the upcoming “Nightmare on Elm Street” remake. On Ludacris new “My Chick Bad” track, Nicki rapped “Tuck yourself in, you better hold on to ya teddy.” Continuing “It’s ‘Nightmare on Elm Street,’ and guess who’s playing Freddy?” Nicki wasn’t finished there name-dropping Freddy, on Beyonce’s “Sweet Dreams” she raps “Yo, Young Money right here/ Bike here, throw it up, no high chair/ Cold like a white bear/ Freddy Krueger, I’m a rap bi— nightmare.” On the set of “Massive Attack,” the new video from Usher, Nicki Minaj found out about the remake. “I didn’t even know they were doing it,” Nicki said with her sunny smile. “They should have cast me. Like a freaking crazy lunatic running crazy down in a wig and the Freddy glove with pink fingernails on it? They missed the mark.”
Maybe someone should inform her that the Elm Street remake was done months ago and will be in theaters next month. You can always try out for the sequel. Remember Kelly Rowland in Freddy vs. Jason?
