Good news for Green Day fans. Singer Billie-Joe Armstrong announced recently that the band is currently in the studio working on some new music! They've been working on the album during their break since last October:
“We did some demos in Berlin, some in Stockholm, some just outside of Glasgow and some in Amsterdam. We wanted to get the new songs down in some early form.”
Their last album, 21st Century Breakdown, took 5 years to record, so Armstrong promises the album will be done alot faster than their last effort. What's also great is that their rock opera American Idiot begins it's Broadway run this week, so if you get a chance, come to New York and check it out.
