I've got some good news, and some bad news. The Good news comes first. After all the petitions to the very unfunny show that is SNL, it has been confirmed that Betty White will host Saturday Night Live on May 8th! Maybe for the night she comes on the can hire the writer from The Proposal to come in and jar some energy into the show.
Unfortunately, they aren't allowing Betty to host the show by herself. According to WNBC, the special Mother's Day episode will also feature Tina Fey, Rachel Dratch, Molly Shannon, Maya Rudolph and Amy Poehler. I just love how they underestimate Ms. White, thinking she can't handle a whole show by herself. I think Lorne Michaels is afraid she'll take away all the spotlight from everyone else. I cannot wait for this show to air, because it's about time we get someone who is actually funny and can act to host this tired show.
