Angelina Jolie may take up after he 'The Tourist' co-star Johnny Depp and team up with Disney. According to the Los Angeles Times, the actress would like a role in the film “Maleficent,” a live action version of the classic animated film “Sleeping Beauty” from the perspective of the villainous fairy godmother.
So far no one has been cast for the film, but once Angie is done shooting “The Tourist”, she has expressed interest that she “would like to sign on to play the titular villain” in the upcoming film.
Tim Burton, the director of such films as “Alice in Wonderland,” and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" has been rumored to direct “Maleficent.”
Angelina’s also has another movie coming out on July 23, the spy drama “Salt”.
