Finally, there is a God. Star magazine is reporting that next year will be American Idol's 10th and final season.
"Producers know Simon really makes the show, and they feel like they could go only one season without him and the quality will suffer after that." says an Idol source.
Everyone involved wants the show to go out on a high note, so they're doing exactly what I suggested in past bloggings, just keep the remaining judges and have a guest celebrity judge fill Simon's seat instead of looking for someone to fill his it (something that never works in television). Guest judges include past winners like Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood. I'd be looking foreward to hearing who else will come aboard as a judge once Simon leaves. I just hope Ryan Gaycrest brought his kneepads to his next meeting, because he's sadly mistaken if he thinks we's going to skip his pansy little ass over to the X Factor. I'm sure they could use someone over at Star Search now that paula Abdul has decided not to be apart of it.
