TOM CRUISE GEARS UP FOR MISSION:IMPOSSIBLE 4

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Since the MI series is the only one that's keeping enough flowing for Suri to werk the runway in a new pair of heels, it was only a matter of time before we got another Mission Impossible film. According to Deadline Hollywood, Tom Cruise will star in as well as produce a fourth film in the Mission Impossible franchise. JJ Abrams, who baically ripped off his Alias series and replaced Sydney Bristow with Ethan Hunt has agreed to come back as a producer instead of a director. Abrams directed MI:3. Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec are currently working on a script.

I know Cruise has been leaning on the crazy as of late, but when it comes to action roles, he's best when he's Ethan Hunt. Glad JJ is on board as producer, but since he could do with MI:3 what he couldn't with Alias, we need more high-octand action and nail-biting suspense which we got in the last film (which in my opinion was the best of the series). I hope should he bring back Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Ving Rhames and Maggie Q, that he use them more especially Maggie who is an amazing action star overseas. Unfortunately like many of the characters in the Mission:Impossible series, they're often used as extras instead of fully-developed characters.
