Lately I've been reporting about all our favorite divas who will be releasing new albums this year. Now I can brigng you some news on the guys. While it's already official we will be expecting new music from Usher, Drake and countless others, I can also tell you that Ne-Yo's new album will get a release date sometime in August. His last album "Year Of The Gentleman" did really well and I liked the fact that he dabbled in dance while not abandoning the slick R&B that put him on the map. Hope he continues in that direction, because Ne*Yo has written some of the most memorable R&B hits of the past decade.
He also revealed that he's currently busy writing new songs for Rihanna's Rated R re-release. Actually since majority of the songs from Rated R are being remixed into uptempo numbers, I'm not so sure if it will be a re-release or if RiRi plans to release a brand new album. As soon as I get more details on this I will certainly let you guys know.
