I had just come around to accepting that Garbage had taken an indefinite break (with Butch Vig producing Green Day's Grammy-winning new album and Shirley acting on a full second season of Terminator: Sarah Connor Cronicles). Well I was definitely surprised but happy to hear that they've started work on a new album. The news comes courtesy of lead singer Shirley Manson via her Facebook page. The last time we heard music from one of my favorite rock bands growing up was when they released their last album Bleed Like Me back in 2005. I am wondering what came of Shirley's solo cd?
As I said before I love me some Shirley and I am happy the foursome have returned back to the studio to capture that magic they once had. If anyone can bring back the electro rock sound and do it well it's these guys.
