While just about every female American singer is jumping on the electro-Gaga bandwagon, folks from across the pond are continuing to do music their way. Currently, I am obsessing over the music of V V Brown. I happened to catch her video for 'Shark In the Water' a few weeks ago on LOGO's NewNowNext:PopLab and it forced me to ask, who is this chick?
The Caribbean singer-songwriter's answer to Amy Winehouse style-hops from boogie-woogie ("Quick Fix") to Motown ("Game Over") to the rock "L.O.V.E." and will have you craving for more music after the cd comes to an end. Her debut album, 'Travelling Like the Light' is now available on iTunes and will be in stores on March 30.
