THE WALKING DEAD HEADS TO TELEVISION

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

A few months back I reported that AMC was looking to adapt the graphic novel series 'Walking Dead' for television. Well according to Variety, AMC has worked it all out and "The Walking Dead," based on Robert Kirkman's graphic novel series about survivors of a zombie apocalypse will be heading to television after all.

Frank Darabont, who did an amazing job on The Mist wrote the adaptation and will direct the TV pilot. Gale Anne Hurd of Valhalla Motion Pictures and David Alpert of Circle of Confusion will executive produce with Darabont.

"Walking Dead" revolves around a group of survivors, led by a police officer, who travel the country in search of a safe home. The pilot will go into production in the second quarter of 2010. Now someone tell me how I can go about auditioning for a part?
