Deadline Hollywood is reporting that Lionsgate and Millenium Films have picked the actor to play the lead role in Marcus Nispel's reinvention of Robert E. Howard's Conan 30-year-old actor Jason Momoa beat out Twilight's Kellan Lutz and Supernatural's Jared Padalecki for the role. You may know Momoa for his role on 'Baywatch Hawaii,' and "Stargate Atlantis" and who also appears in HBO's upcoming mini-series "Game of Thrones." But if your not too familiar with his career, he's best known for his role as Lisa Bonet's new baby fawwva.
Latino Review is also reporting that says that they would like for Mickey Rourke to play Conan's father Corin.
The movie is scheduled to start production in Bulgaria on March 15.
Great choice picking Momoa for the role of Conan. he exudes sexy and looks like he would have no problem connecting with nature and walking around half naked.
