NEW MUSIC: GOLDFRAPP - ROCKET

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I had just tweeted the other day while listening to Black Cherry how I yearned for a new Goldfrapp song. I think I am the music and movie whisperer because everytime I speak of something my prayers get answered. Like Roisin Murphy, I just love when Alison gives us something we've never heard before. Rocket has kind of a Journey-esque power pop vibe with a signature electro vibe thrown in to give it that Goldfrapp flavor. Alison and Will Gregory have been keeping busy since their last album Seventh Tree. They worked on the score for the film "Nowhere Boy," which is based on the story of John Lennon as a youth. It's also been reported that they collaborated with Xtina on her new album. Goldfrapp's fifth album Head First will be released on US soil March 23 via Mute Records.
