This song was recorded shortly after Fischerspooner's latest album 'Entertainment' was done. Casey is currently working on a solo album and the following track is what may be to come. he spoke briefly of his influences: The revivalist pop-rock sound of "Faye Dunaway" is very reminiscent me of the music put out by the New Romantics movement in the '80s. Inspired by David Bowie, bands like Roxy Music and The Cars put out a lush sound that merged guitar-oriented rock and synth-driven pop. Sounds totally different than FS (which is a good thing) and i cannot wait to hear the new music.
