Kylie Minogue's album is not slated for release until later this year, but the International pop Queen is way ahead of schedule. Kylie submitted eight new tracks over to record executives at her label EMI and plans to record more in the coming weeks. Kylie has been busy in the studio working with Stuart Price (a.k.a. “Jacques Lu Cont” a.k.a. "Thin White Duke") who most notably produced Madonna's 'Confessions On a Dancefloor album and toured with her for almost ten years. I can hear the Madonna fanatics coming for Kylie just because she worked with someone that Madonna worked with in the past as I write this. All I have to say is if producers worked with one artist, they'd all be broke!
Two album people should check out that I actually have in my CD collection. An album by Juliet called Random Order and Jacques Lu Cont's awesome debut cd, Darkdancer.
Lu Cont is not the only producer Kylie has collaborated with on her forthcoming dance-pop album. Expect some awesome tracks from The Scissor Sisters, Xenomania, Calvin Harris, Nerina Pallot and lots more...
Have a listen to confirmed track “Better Than Today” which Kylie performed when she did her two-week live concert tour in America for the first time in 20+ years.
