JENNIFER LOPEZ BRINGS THE COMEDY ON LOPEZ TONIGHT

While the boring hosts over on the major networks are duking it out over the 11:35 time slot, George Lopez is having an awesome time coming hard for the big chinned one. I have been watching and enjoying Lopez Tonight since the beginning, and I was pleasantly surprised to see Jennifer Lopez opening the show (as a play on one Lopez replacing another, in light of the NBC Leno/Conan host switcheroo). She looked amazing, and was very funny. Showing her comedic side was never JLo's weak spot. she's always had a silly side even though her mediocre romcoms failed to show that fully. her best performance was when she was on Will & Grace and jack auditioned to be her back-up dancer. Still a classic to me. I'm really hoping that with her showing a bit of humility and the ability to laugh at herself (and less with the Jenny from the Block BS), that her appearances on both Lopez Tonight (and allegedly as a singing lunch lady on an upcoming episode of Glee) that it will generate some life into her music career (which is currently on life support).
