GEORGE MICHAEL TALKS LADY GAGA AND ADAM LAMBERT

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

In the January 18 issue of People, George Michael opened up about being sick of "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" while saying his fave Wham! song was "the original 'Freedom.' I was 19 wen I wrote it. Afterwards, I couldn't believe I did it."

He also talks about being a huge fan of Lady GaGa, Amy Winehouse and Bjork, while some feel he's throwing some shady grease at Adam Lambert:

"He's the guy with the eyeliner and black nails, right? I've heard him perform. He certainly seems talented. I didn't come out until after my mother died, as I was sure the papers would attack me and that would hurt her. Adam is out, so he won't have that problem. I wish him a lot of success."

I think George is not truth-telling. You didn't fully come out until your ass was busted trying to circle jerk some undercover whore in a public bathroom. I don't think he's being mean towards Adam. I think he regrets not coming out sooner. the times were different. almost 30 years ago, there was no such think as gay in the media. you could be flamboyant like most brit pop bands and colorful like Boy George, but god forbid you came out of the closet. While times have changed, we still have a long way to go for equal rights. I will always say that being out and owning your truth is better than TMZ and the National Enquirer threatening to expose you business.
