We haven't heard from her in almost four years, but as the release date for 'Bionic' gets closer (in March), we are getting more details on what Christina Aguilera is up to. For the past few days I have been giving more details on her album and movie. Word on the street is that along with the plethora of other producers she has been collaborating with, The Neptunes have also joined the list of people who will provide some beats for the album. Also above is your first look at Xtina shooting 'Burlesque' with Cher.
Christina will play a “small town girl with a big voice” who heads to L.A. to follow her dreams, where she eventually ends up working as a cocktail waitress in a burlesque club that Cher’s character owns and performs in. If it has the campy trashiness of 'Showgirls' and not the ridiculouly awfulness of 'Glitter,' I am so there. Everyone who knows me knows that 'Showgirls' is one of my favorite movies up there with 'The Goonies and 'The Lost Boys.' The film was written and directed by Steve Antin, who looks about as scary as his sister, Pussycat Dolls svengali Robin. Christina and Cher are both recording songs for the soundtrack, which is being scored by producer Tricky Stewart. I do wonder what the music willsound like for the film? I'm sure it will be PCD-inspired with the choreography (but hopefully with better songs), but I do wonder if Cher gets urban with some of the recordings, will it inspire her to unleash her inner Beyonce and she'll record hip-pop record like when she went dance diva onus with 'Believe'?

Im really quite excited about this film, I love Cher , always have, great actress, a national treasure , however, Xtina is a great vocalist, but kind of leaves me cold otherwise. She has a real shit reputation in this business as well for being Xtra rotten and impossible to deal with .

Yea Christina is legendary for talking grease about other artists, her last victim being Lady Gaga. She thought everyone forgot when she released the greatest Hits album at target that no one would notice she jacked Gaga's style. We shall see if she can pull off a convincing acting role or will she flop like Britney Spears in Crossroads. I would have used Mariah Carey, but she redeemed herself from all the hatred she got for Glitter into an amazing part in 'Precious.'
