As everyone who follows this blog is well aware, Christina Aguilera has been keeping very busy filming "Burlesque" with Cher, but while she's getting her acting on, Billboard gives us an insight into her fourth studio album "Bionic".
Recorded in her home studio, Christina Aguilera's fourth studio album "Bionic" shows her dabbling in rap and dance and boasts an intriguing array of collaborators: Linda Perry, Sia Furler & Sam Dixon, Chris "Tricky" Stewart & Claude Kelly, Santigold, M.I.A., John Hill & Dave Switch, Ladytron and Le Tigre. The album will also have empowering ballads, including the Perry-produced "Lift Me Up." The project is a departure from 2006's "Back to Basics"-a soul- and hip-hop-fusing tribute to such inspirations as Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James and Billie Holiday that spun off the No. 6 Billboard Hot 100 hit "Ain't No Other Man" and has sold 1.7 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Songs featured on the album: Bionic, Glam, Lift Me Up, Lullaby, You Lost Me, Sex for Breakfast, Monday Morning and Listen Up.
'Bionic' will be released in April
