ROBERT DOWNEY JR'S POLITICALLY INCORRECT COMMENTS TOWARDS GAYS ON LETTERMAN SPARKS OUTRAGE
While on David Letterman promoting his new Sherlock Holes film, DL brought up the homosexual undertones between SH and Dr. Watson. When RDJ referred to gays in a way some may feel a bit derogative, music man Paul Schaffer decided to jump in on the fun after the audience (which I'm sure consists of tourists) started to laugh. While I wasn't really offended by known bisexual RDJ's politically incorrect comments, I don't get why Schaffer, who wrote "It's Raining Men" for The Weather Girls would feel to stick his nose where it doesn't belong. I always say this to people who don't have the knack for comic timing; if it's not your area of expertise, you need not get involved. Paul was looking for a laugh because someone else got it first.
