As I am sure you are all well aware, Mariah Carey's "Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel" was a huge commercial flop. Instead of my girl going out with her tail between her legs (which she almost did just a few days ago with her lackluster and very pitchy performance of 'Obsessed' on Lopez Tonight), she decided to release a remix album which is now due on February 23rd in 2010. The remix album will feature guests such as Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, T-Pain, R. Kelly, K-Ci & JoJo, Big Boi, Trey Songz and Fabolous and will also feature two new singles: "Up Out My Face" featuring Nicki Minaj and "Angels Cry" featuring Ne-Yo. There's been word that Mariah is working on a deal to have the remix album released only at Target, but nothing so far has been set in stone. Also in January, she'll be working on VH1's Storytellers (if I was at VH1 I would totally be working on this). What I am wondering is will this album be different from the Jump Smokers remix album (check out their awesome interview where they talk about working on MC's remix cd at Blog.Muzophile.com)that they are working on, or is this the official remix album that some of the industry's hottest producers are working on?
