According to TMZ, actress Brittany Murphy, 32, was pronounced dead early this morning at Cedars Sanai Hospital in Los Angeles after going into cardiac arrest at her home. No word if her husband Simon Monjack was with her at the time, or who placed the 911 call. Myurphy starred in many of my favorite films including Sin City, Clueless, Girl Interrupted and 8 Mile. So sad that this has happened to a young girl. What the hell is this world coming to, especially days before Christmas. Although I'm not surprised at the things she did pertaining to her death, I am quite surprised that she went out so young, when we have heavyweight drug users Amy Winehouse and Lindsay Lohan still rolling with their homies. I remember at one point she was supposed to be working on a singing career, even recording the hot track "Faster Kill Pussycat" with Paul Oakenfold. That song alone was the reason I bought the whole cd. She had worked on her debut cd back in 2008 with Oakenfold, Timbaland, and Max Martin. Those three alonge would have immediately given Brittany the push to graduate from serious actress to a singer serious about her craft. Sadly, her music career never got off the ground. Now I don't want to be quick to jump to conclusions, but who dies of a heart attack at 32 unless you've been partying with the Thin White Duke. R.I.P. Brittany. I know Tiger is thanking you selfishly for taking some of the heat off of him for once.
