NYPD RAIDS CHELSEA STOREFRONT FEATURING LIVE MASSAGE

Last week in Chelsea, it was looking a bit like one of the many brothels in Amsterdam, because someone got their tits in a twist and called the pigs on the LEGENDARY Blue Store over in Chelsea. Last Friday, The Blue Store, which is a store that sells gay pornographic material was shut down by the NYPD after a live window display featuring a man giving another man an erotic massage in the window of the Blue Store, on Eighth Avenue between 20th and 21st streets, must've offended someone. Now for the record, there was no oral fixation going on or no penetration in the window. Just an innocent massage. I'm sure since there are lots of straights and tourists who pump through Chelsea, someone got uncomfortable and called the pig hotline.

Here's what Daniel Lee, director of manworks.com, had to say: 'It think it was prejudice,' Lee said yesterday. 'It was perfectly legal massage, what was happening in the window.'"

Here is what AMNY is reporting:

"About an hour after the massages began at 6 p.m., Lee said cops showed up and told him to shut it down. He complied, though he was issued no summons and the officer would not tell him what laws were broken, he said. The cop said onlookers - who numbered about 15 - were blocking the sidewalk, according to Lee. Police said cops responded to the scene after a man who had been walking with his son saw the display and called the local precinct to complain. Cops confirmed no summons was issued. 'It seems there was some kind of moral objection to what we were doing,' Lee said."

Now the owner of the store is upset because, he says, the police will be watching him now. This isn't the first time the police have shown up to The Blue Store. At one point police were coming into the store soliciting patrons for sex. When they agreed, they were arrested. Porn star Michael Lucas even made a movie on it. This crackdown on gay men doing what comes natural in New York City seriously needs to stop. What also needs to stop is New Yorkers (especially gay men) acting so damn uptight and prudish. When did we become so medieval in our ways and beliefs? Oh I know. the moment we didn't want to offend straights because we want to show them we're just like them so that we can get the gay marriage bill signed.
