NO SHIT NEWS: BRITNEY SPEARS LIP-SYNCHS

And now a word from our sponsor, Captain Obvious. I'm sure anyone who has ever seen a Britney performance knows that she NEVER sings live. In fact, her onstage lip-synching is so bad, she doesn't even attempt to fool her audience. This is why I would never pay damn near $200.00 to watch some backwoods hick play dress-up for two hours. In fact, I could go see some drag queen do the same shit for free at Barracuda. Apparently the folks in Austrailia didn't get the memo, because according to reports, Virginia Judge, the Minister for Fair Trading for New South Wales in Australia, has gotten her tits in a knot over this shit.

According to People, Virginia issued this statement: "It is Britney's 'prerogative' to lip-sync, and it is my job to make sure consumers know what they are paying for up front. Personally I would rather see a live set from a local artist, but I am sure Britney's fans will be treated to a spectacular show."

Virginia Judge went on to say that the organizers should put disclaimers on all promo materials and tickets.

I don't think there needs to be a disclaimer when EVERYONE knows she does this. They tried allowing her to sing live when she first came out, but vocally she had no stamina. At least Madonna, who can be a bit pitchy and flat at times will go out there and sing live regardless of how much athleticism is permitted in her concerts. maybe they expect every pop singer who comes to Australia to be like Kylie Minogue, who not only is the biggest star to emerge from that country, but doesn't do much dancing. She does, on the other hand, always sounds amazing live. I think Britney needs to stop being a damn puppet, grow some cojones, take some voice lessons, and at least try to attempt at being a legitimate pop star.
